Promoting Independence Through the Use of Visual Supports- part 1

March 1, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

In this two-night workshop (two sessions offered via ZOOM) we will cover four different basic visual supports that can be used to promote independence in individuals with ASD and other executive functioning deficits. Two supports will be discussed each night with an open Q&A session following the presentation. Participants will also have the opportunity to complete a feedback survey and submit requests for these tangible visual supports if they have not already been received through their school special education program. Visual Supports covered include: visual schedule, first-then, countdown strip, and pause card.
